Ferry schedule
Ferries to Green Island are operated by three companies Triumph, Golden Star, and Green Island Star. There are two fixed-schedule ferries every day. A single trip takes about 50 minutes.
Precautions
  • Please arrive at the boarding point at least one hour prior and have the passports of all passengers with you when collecting ferry tickets at the counter. Boarding is open 30 minutes before departure. If you would like to pick a seat, please complete the check-in earlier.
    ※ Reminder: You cannot board the ferry without your passport.
  • There are only two ferries a day going to Green Island. You are recommended to book the tickets one week in advance. If you purchase the tickets through an online travel agency, pay close attention to the deadline before which you can cancel the ticket for free.
  • Passengers who are prone to seasickness can take motion sickness pills 30 minutes before boarding. They can be found in all pharmacies in Taiwan.
  • The ferry schedule is subject to changes due to weather. You are recommended to check your mobile phone and e-mail before departure to see if you have received any notification or confirm with your online travel agency.

How to buy tickets
There are five ferries to Green Island every day. However, since April to September is the peak tourist season on the island, the ferries are often full. You are recommended to book round-trip ferry tickets online in advance.
